HELLO THERE!
It's been so long since I last updated my blog. I went to several places in the previous year but I was just too lazy to update my blog. Recently, I just got back from my trip to Krabi and decided that I should update my blog for this trip. So here I am...
It's a 4D3N trip and there were four of us travelling together in this trip.
Sadly, there were no direct flight from Kota Kinabalu to Krabi so we have to transit from Kuala Lumpur. The total flight cost us around RM531 per person.
DAY 1
7AM
Depart to Kuala Lumpur by Malindo Air because it is cheaper than AirAsia.
9.40AM
Arrive at KLIA. It was too early until our next flight, so we went to Mitsui Outlet Park for brunch and window shopping.
4.15PM
4.15PM
Depart to Krabi
4.40PM (Thai time)
Arrive at Krabi International Airport
We didn't get their sim card because we already bought roaming package for RM25 back in Malaysia. But it is so much cheaper if you get their sim card for only 100 Baht with unlimited data given.
We took a private van to our hotel in Ao Nang area for 600 Baht. It is advisable to travel using the private van if you travel with a group of 4 person or more because the price is the same and it is very time-consuming if you travel using the mini bus.
The journey takes around 40 minutes to arrive in Ao Nang area.
Before arriving our hotel, the driver stopped by the place below and offer us airport transfer back later on the last day of out trip. Without much hesitation, I just said yes since it is the same price but you can actually get a cheaper price in Ao Nang area for only 500 Baht. Beware here.
5.30PM (Thai time)
Arrive at our hotel Ancora Blu Blutique Hotel
The room is very spacious and comfy with fast wifi too. The only disadvantage about this hotel is there were no elevator and located quite far from the happening place in Ao Nang. But since our room were in the first floor and there is free tuk-tuk shuttle to the street, so it's not really an issue for us.
6PM (Thai time)
Took the hotel tuk-tuk to Ao Nang street.
We booked half day Kayaking at Ao Thalane and shuttle van to Krabi Night Market located at Krabi Town for the next day and Hong Islands Day Tour (long tail boat) for Saturday from this Krabi Rungtawan Tour company. Everything cost us only 1,400 Baht per person which I considered it's very cheap.
7.30PM (Thai time)
Dinner at Massaman House
Address : Plaza of Aonang President Hotel (Next to Spaghetti House)
Opening hours : 08:00 AM - 10:30 PM
Total paid : 650 Baht
Food : Massaman Beef, Mango sticky rice, Spring rolls, Thai omelette, Basil pork
Reviewed : Foods are good and the portion is just nice for 4 person
9PM (Thai time)
The end of first day
DAY 2
8.30AM (Thai time)
Pick up service by the tour and we start our half day kayaking. The only sad thing about this tour is we didn't get any fruits as mentioned in the tour package.
3PM (Thai time)
We had our late lunch at a random shop called Peoychompoo Seafood Station. The food here is pricey, little portion and so-so only. It cost us around 810 Baht.
4.30PM (Thai time)
We went for Traditional Thai Massage for 1 hour for 300 Baht per person at Atta-Rak.
6PM (Thai time)
Pick up service by tour from hotel to Krabi Night Market.
Random foods we had in the night market and then we're fulled.
9PM (Thai time)
Tour van send us back to our hotel and it was raining heavily that night.
DAY 3
8AM (Thai time)
Pick up service by tour to Hong Islands Day Tour. I apologize because I didn't take much photos of the islands.
P/s : Lunch were included in the tour package.
5.30PM
Dinner at Ton Ma Yom Thai Food Restaurant (Reservation is needed)
Opening hours : 8AM - 2PM, 5PM - 9.30PM *Closed on Monday
Foods : Fried chicken cashew nut, Panang curry chicken, Sour pork sausage, Pad Thai Seafood, Tom Yam Goong Seafood, Mango sticky rice, Pineapple fried rice, Steam fish with lemon sauce and cabbage with pork.
Reviewed : The foods were nice. KK still served the best seafood. The sour pork sausage taste kinda weird though.
Total paid : 1,725 Baht
DAY 4
5.45AM (Thai time)
Pick up by tour van to airport.
The end of our Krabi Trip.
P/s : If you're planning to go on for a short and budget trip, Krabi will be a place for you as the whole trip cost less than RM1,500.
Next oversea trip will be on 2019. See ya by then. Bye.....
